Below is an introduction to various Gateways. Please download the usage scenario file. For the tags used in conjunction with these features, please refer to "Tag" page.
1. RTLS: Real-Time Location System
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Real-Time Location System (RTLS) utilizes RSSI for real-time location tracking. It is inexpensive, uses power-efficient tags, and is commonly used for asset location and personnel tracking. Furthermore, by integrating with various sensors, it can transmit real-time detection data back to the system, such as temperature and humidity, air quality, various switch signals, and human characteristics. All of this information can be transmitted in real-time to a server or smartphone via the RTLS system.
2. AOA: Angle of Arrival
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Angle of Arrival (AoA) is a direction-finding technology introduced in Bluetooth 5.1. By measuring the phase difference of an incoming radio signal across a multi-antenna array, it enables high-precision, sub-meter indoor positioning (often accurate down to 10-50 cm)
Applications:
- Industrial & Logistics Asset Tracking
- Healthcare Real-Time Location Systems
- Access Control & Security
- Indoor Wayfinding & Navigation
- Retail Analytics & Proximity Marketing
- Smart Building & Home Automation
3. HA: Home Assiistant
Home Assistant is a massive platform with official support for over 2,500 integrations, representing thousands of individual brands and devices. Because it is open-source, if a device has an API or broadcasts a wireless signal, there is a very high chance the community has built a way to integrate it.
You don't have to abandon your existing hubs or apps HA can pull them all into one place.
